Welcome

The current installment of the COEC began meeting in 2007.

We are currently on a "break," for no particular reason, and many little reasons - mostly pertaining to life circumstances. If anyone is interested in calling a meeting, feel free to post on the blog, join the google group (see link below) and send an email, or contact either Nancy (nancykj10@yahoo.com) or Jesse (schroeder.jesse@gmail.com) for more information.

Super Fun?!?

Hey everyone,

We need to make a plan for our Super-Fun! activity this weekend. Greg had a good idea that we should just make a list the we can pick from so that when this happens again (it will) we can pick something already guaranteed to be fun. Maybe bowling would be fun if anyone knows somewhere cheap. Anyway, please start posting ideas - even if we've already settled on one for this weekend. Let's get a list going.

Cheers.

Hey guys, I'm not too good at blogging and don't know how to leave this comment in another place - but I forgot that I was going to post info about the Day of Relief. We need volunteers for Fri Feb 27th 9:30-3:00 to come sit with the homeless and chat them up a bit. If anyone is interested, please let me know ASAP. Thanks Keturah

Keturah, where is this event happening?

As for Super-fun this weekend, another option would be viewing Slumdog Millionaire, which Andrew had mentioned. We could add a post-movie gathering somewhere.

I like this idea. I haven't seen it, yet.

Board Games at my house is always an option. Also a poker night might be fun sometime.

Adam I think in the summer we should all go swimming at the Quarry (the actual quarry not the swimming pool next to the apartments next to the man-made lake).

If you guys see slumdog I probably won't join in for the movie since I've seen it, but would hang out afterward.

Hey everyone,

So it seems like we should decide promptly about what we're doing tomorrow. I like the idea of something simple - a game night like Zack suggested. It sounds like a lot of people have already seen Slumdog Millionaire, so I don't think this should be the only thing we do. Zack, would you and Eve be up for hosting people? If not, Nick and I can do it.

Bring your board games to Zack and Eve's house, Sunday, Feb. 15, 7 p.m.

2598 Indianola St., Columbus, OH
