I was recently reminded of Columbus's Landing Place. From their revamped website: "We often gather in each others homes to share meals, have conversations, read Scriptures, tell stories, study the teachings of Jesus, sing songs, pray prayers, recite poetry, and practice liturgies." Sounds strangely familiar . . . I am planning to check out their gathering this Thursday at 6:30 (1469 Summit). If anyone is interested in joining, let me know.

Adam and I actually met several of the guys that are a part of landing place on Sat. Through a project that Jesse told us about we met a guy Sat morning and then ended up staying most of the day to help out and work in a community garden they have going in their neighborhood. We were really encouraged by a lot of the things they are doing.
That's great Greg. I can't make it, but Jane and I have actually been to the Landing Place before. They are great people. I actually invited some people from the King Av. landing place to our cookout - feel free to invite more.
Hey Greg, were you able to check it out? I think it would be great for us to have a relationship with the Landing Place...that is if they would have us...
