Welcome

The current installment of the COEC began meeting in 2007.

We are currently on a "break," for no particular reason, and many little reasons - mostly pertaining to life circumstances. If anyone is interested in calling a meeting, feel free to post on the blog, join the google group (see link below) and send an email, or contact either Nancy (nancykj10@yahoo.com) or Jesse (schroeder.jesse@gmail.com) for more information.

To receive cohort emails, join our Google group.

Cohort Family

I love that our cohort is a family and has family in it. I took this picture yesterday at a family birthday gathering (Jon Eades' 30th).

Adam and Henry just look like such natural father and son. Had to share it.

In case you missed it...

Zack and Eve are doing some awesome stuff in Cambodia - you can check out their blog here:

Right now they are just touring the country for about 2 weeks, meeting people and getting a feel for possible ministry opportunities. They will be returning in September for about about 2 years. You can support them here

Thanks everyone!

Thanks to everyone who came out for the Doug Pagitt Live Occurrence event. It was a great time, and we really enjoyed meeting everyone and hanging out. A special shout out to the folks at Jacob's Porch for allowing us to use their space. Also, it was great to see our emergent friends from the Dayton Cohort and the Akron Cohort! Thanks for dropping by!

You can see a few more pictures from the event on our facebook page here:

Back from EMC

Hey everyone! We've made it back safe and only a little damp from Goshen. It was a blessed weekend in many ways, with exciting opportunities opened up, challenging conversations, and new books to read. Most of all, I think the members of our cohort genuinely enjoyed spending time together, and we realized that we have something really special in Columbus! This includes all of you reading this right now, and I'd love to invite everyone (whether you came to the conference or not) into the conversation of how our cohort can continue to live out God's call for us in Columbus. For now, here are some pictures, and look for more blogs about the conference to come this week.
